Amazon Belleville YGK-1
YGK-1 is an XLFC (Extra Large Fulfillment Centre) project located on a 102-acre site just south of the 401 in Belleville, Ontario. The building stands at approximately 45ft tall, with a 19,820 sq.ft. office and 1,030,027 sq.ft. warehouse.
Located halfway between our offices in Montreal and Toronto, this project required the collaboration of both teams to bring the project to life. Broccolini’s strong processes ensured that this project was completed in the same fast-tracked timeframe that Amazon has come to expect.
The facility features 106 overhead doors including dock equipment and 2 drive in/drive out doors. This facility is fitted out with a full racking system. The work also includes the construction of a new 1km road to access the facility. Broccolini acted as Developer, Builder, and Landlord of this facility overseeing it’s completion in just 14 months.
